The Kindom of Swaziland. An absolute monarchy.----
Swaziland originated in the 18th century when the Bantu people migrated southwest towards the area of Mozambique in the 16th century. A number of clans broke away from this original group, these peoples were to become Swazi's. In the 19th century these people became an organised tribe, partly because of their constant and deadly conflict with the Zulu's. In the 1840's, their ruler, Mswazi, appealed to Britain, asking for help in their battles against the Zulu's. The independence of Swaziland was guaranteed by the British and the Transvaal.
After multiple battles, King Mswati III, the current King, took the crown.
The first constitution of Swaziland was signed in August 2005. The document pretty much mantains the status quo, in essence nothing changed. It stated that opposition parties are banned and the King has, and always will have, ultimate power.
